About the Show
Woody Allen wrote this parody in 1971, as a pastiche of hardboiled detective stories. This classic short addresses different schools of philosophy, with the gumshoe inspired by detective types Philip Marlowe of The Big Sleep and Sam Spade of The Maltese Falcon.
