Heartbreak Feels Good (In A Place Like This) is an incredibly entertaining show. Levani manages to capture his audience with charm, passion, and comedy. The improv is spectacular, drawing the audience in and trapping them in the subtle and major changes he makes to the monologue. The physicality is astounding and quite unexpected, one time breakdancing with remarkable finesse (while still performing a monologue) whilst another time doing a headstand while airplaying guitar with his feet. The creativity is remarkable throughout the piece and the structure creates a strong foundation for it all to lay. Levani deftly ties the beginning and the end of the performance with themes of heartbreak and most importantly community.
