Thoroughly enjoyed the cast and LOVED Rumpelstiltskin the puppet (and his puppeteer!) Caught the show by chance and was pleasantly surprised by the depth of commitment the actors brought to a classic tale. Well done!...

While one driving joy in familiar tales is being able to experience them again and again, a real treat here was the use of puppetry to examine how truly bizarre and grotesque the title character truly is. Animated by the distractingly irresistible Zander Raphael, I found myself nearly rooting for the cursed little thing. Adam Frost Venrick is both hilarious and commanding as the King. Looking forward to what lies ahead from Wyndwolf Players! ...

Gilded Spindle is the ambitious and imaginative project by Wyndwolf Puppets which had its premiere at the 30 Minutes or Less Festival at The Stephanie Fuery Theater. The production moved at a fast pace, quickly establishing its medieval world through a series of short and intense stylized scenes. Rapid transitions and frequent blackouts, with the focus on storytelling and visual experiments. I enjoyed watching Adam Frost-Venrick as the king, who brought a commanding yet comedic presence.
