While one driving joy in familiar tales is being able to experience them again and again, a real treat here was the use of puppetry to examine how truly bizarre and grotesque the title character truly is. Animated by the distractingly irresistible Zander Raphael, I found myself nearly rooting for the cursed little thing. Adam Frost Venrick is both hilarious and commanding as the King. Looking forward to what lies ahead from Wyndwolf Players!
