A member of the esteemed Undergraduate Writers’ Workshop at Iowa, Rosemary earned an MFA from San Francisco State University. A blend of her fearless Irish FBI agent dad and her magical Reiki Master, tarot card reading mom, she writes bold Drama/Genre blends with an underlying dark humor. Her book SKY GIRL won the Alberta Prize and is published by Fence Books. Her play The Letter Witches was produced at San Francisco’s Venue 9 Women on the Way series and continued for a longer run at The Phoenix Theatre. Her screenplays have been well received – 3 scripts with 8’s on The Black List and featured Top Scripts, 2 placing in the Nicholl, Top 1% on Coverfly, etc. Rosemary has two short films produced as well as fiction and poetry published in periodicals such as Best American Poetry, Poets and Writers, and 14 Hills. Rosemary has been hired to adapt Amanda Dubois’ mystery/thriller novel “Unshackled” into a screenplay with an excellent producer attached. She has acted in Bay Area Industrials, Commercials and Independent Films. She lives in Oakland, California with her husband and five rescue pets.
